An important update has emerged regarding Chippa United striker Bienvenu Eva Nga, with his agent, Charles Domingos, speaking out about the player's future amid swirling rumors connecting him to Kaizer Chiefs.
The Cameroonian forward's current contract is due to expire at the end of June, marking the end of his second spell with the Chilli Boys, which began in January 2024 and lasted for 18 months.
This makes Eva Nga a free agent, a significant development in his career.
In the just-ended season, the 32-year-old proved to be an indispensable figure for the Eastern Cape-based side.
He was a regular feature in their starting XI, consistently showcasing his attacking prowess and commitment on the field.
Eva Nga made a 28 appearances across all competitions last season, scoring three goals in the process.
Recent media reports have extensively linked the centre-forward with a transfer to Amakhosi. Nonetheless, his representative, Domingos, has promptly dismissed these speculative claims, providing clarity on the ongoing transfer saga.

‘EVA NGA IS NOT GOING TO CHIEFS’ – AGENY
“Eva is not going to Chiefs,” said Domingos during an exclusive chat with FARPost.
“His contract is ending; we have not renewed with Chippa. So, basically, he’s a free agent as we’re speaking,” Domingos added.
“We’re still in talks with Chippa, but we haven’t agreed to anything. So, the player is a free agent for now.”
In 2022, a potential transfer saw Eva Nga come close to signing with Kaizer Chiefs, but the deal never materialized due to a failure to agree on personal terms between the player and the club.
Chiefs had intended for his arrival to strengthen their offensive line, particularly with the impending departures of Leonardo Castro and Samir Nurkovic at the conclusion of that season.
