Here are all the dates, matches and results for the PSL Reserve League
Kaizer Chiefs finally secured the 2025 DStv Diski Challenge title following a 3-0 thrashing of Magesi FC on Saturday April 26, having received a major boost just a day before.
Chiefs had been awarded three points on Friday April 25 when the PSL deemed Chippa United to have abandoned their match in February and they now needed just one win from their remaining two matches of the season to win the title.
That was secured on Saturday when they demolished Magesi to take their tally to an unassailable 67 points while their closest challengers Stellenbosch FC suffered a surprise 3-0 home loss to Marumo Gallants.
It saw Stellies surrender the title while Chiefs joined the list of PSL Reserve League winners, having clinched their first-ever crown.
It was the ninth win for Chiefs in 10 matches, a period in which they have been unbeaten with the other result being a draw, getting rewarded for their great form with the title.
Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates suffered a 3-1 loss to TS Galaxy while Mamelodi Sundowns edged out Sekhukhune United 1-0 to move to 57 points, three behind second-placed Stellenbosch.
WHEN WILL THE NEXT MATCH TAKE PLACE?
The PSL Reserve League will now head into the final round of matches on Saturday May 3, when Chiefs will be crowned champions, after they take on AmaZulu at the King Zwelithini Stadium.
Stellenbosch will complete their season with an away match to TS Galaxy as Sundowns visit Golden Arrows while Pirates have completed their season as their opponents Royal AM are suspended.
WHERE TO CATCH THE ACTION
SuperSport is the primary carrier of games on the DStv platform. Of the 66 games scheduled, at least 30 will be televised. Some will take the form of live shows, while others will be broadcast on a delayed basis, depending on channel scheduling.
