‘Bafana must change or suffer, Mosimane should drop Sithole and call Chiefs players’

South Africans have given varied opinions following Bafana Bafana’s 2-1 win over Guinea at Orlando Amstel Arena on Saturday.

Pitso Mosimane’s second coming as Bafana coach got off to a winning start as goals from Ime Okon and Samukele Kabini gave them victory in their opening 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

However, the performance was marked by a number of missed chances, something Mosimane has complained about, while the defence was curved open on a few occasions.

A number of fans feel Bafana Bafana were lucky to come out with maximum points and must improve if they want to make it comfortable in subsequent matches.

Some fans think the Man of the Match award should have gone to someone else and not Kamogelo Sebelebele.

After Mosimane lamented over so many empty seats, there are supporters who think this is due to Kaizer Chiefs players being overlooked.

With Mosimane starting his reign with a competitive match, some fans want more friendly matches to help him fine tune his squad.
