Bafana Bafana will take on Eritrea in their second 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, looking for a second win on the bounce and coach Pitso Mosimane has to get his lineup spot on.

South Africa are coming from a hard-fought 2-1 win over Guinea last Saturday and on paper, Eritrea looks like ‘easy meat’ but Mosimane’s men must be wary in Cairo where the game will be played on Wednesday evening.

To secure the win they need, South Africa have to start strongly and utilise chances. Mosimane therefore has the tough job of naming a team that will get the job done.

Mosimane will most likely keep faith with the Bafana captain in goal as he did not put a foot wrong on Saturday.

Named Man of the Match against Guinea, it would be a surprise if the Orlando Pirates star is dropped.

With Aubrey Modiba injured, the Norway-based defender is set to take over, especially after scoring the winner on Saturday.

This a game that suits his trickery, pace, passing and eye for goal.
