Boost for Pirates? Gallants key midfielder set to miss Bucs clash

Marumo Gallants will have to do without one of their key players Monde Mpambaniso when they face Orlando Pirates on Tuesday.

The two sides face off in the Betway Premiership clash at Orlando Stadium at 3 PM.

Mpambaniso has been a vital cog in the Bahlabane Ba Ntwa’s midfield since the start of the campaign.

He has played all the matches across all competitions – nine in the league and three in the Carling Knockout Cup.

He will miss the match against the Sea Robbers as he’s suspended after accumulating four yellow cards.

GALLANTS TO MISS MONDE MPAMBANISO’S SERVICES AGAINST PIRATES

“I’m going to sound like a prophet if I can do that, you know, let’s see how we prepare and who we prepare for Pirates and what kind of personnel we need,” said Malesela.

“Unfortunately, we don’t have Mpambaniso now he’s got his fourth yellow. So, we need to look at what we get in terms of personnel. They play a bit quicker.

“So, we need to see what we can do against Pirates and have a line-up that we’ll be able to match and be able to win. So, let’s see.”
