A final decision has been made regarding the CUFA Cup match between Kaizer Chiefs and Marumo Gallants, which has been rescheduled for Sunday afternoon.
Initially, there was ambiguity surrounding the fixture due to a statement from Marumo Gallants, which indicated ongoing contractual disagreements with the event organizers.
Nevertheless, it appears that both parties have resolved their issues and have confirmed that the match will proceed as planned.
Before the main event featuring Amakhosi and Bahlabane Ba Ntwa at 3 PM, there will be a preliminary match between Mangaung United FC and D’General FC.

“The CUFA Cup match between Marumo Gallants v Kaizer Chiefs will take place as planned today, Sunday 13 Oct at 15:00 kickoff,” said the organisers statement.
“This follows the meeting that took place on Sunday morning to resolve the concerns raised by Marumo Gallants.
“We are delighted that the resolution was reached on time and the supporters will enjoy the match at 15:00.
“The organisers would like to thank all the stakeholders for their supporters in this matter.”

“Marumo Gallants FC and C-Squared Group have confirmed that the
game between Gallants and Chiefs will continue today as planned,” said Gallants in a statement.
“Both parties would like to apologize to all stakeholders for the inconvenience caused and ask supporters
and fans to come to the Toyota Stadium in numbers.”
