‘Broos can go to hell! Drop Mbokazi, he isn’t better than Adams but Madala is hurting’

Published on by

Bafana Bafana defender Mbekezeli Mbokazi reported in residential training late, something that did not go down well with coach Hugo Broos.

The Belgian tactician termed the action as ‘really nonsense‘ since he felt the 20-year-old is going astray following his recent move to the Major League Soccer outfit Chicago Fire.

Furthermore, the 73-year-old has questioned the motive behind his move to the American outfit, claiming his agent wanted to make money. Have a look at what the fans have said as sampled by Afrik-Foot.

Nothing is shocking from what Broos said

Hugo Broos all the way. This madala does not play. Very good for Bafana Bafana, but again, South Africans don’t know what they want. We all can see Mbekezeli Mbokazi showing a discipline issue.  Well done, Hugo Broos, don’t allow lazy people to stop you from doing your job – Borwa Ike

Hugo Broos can go to hell! Mbekezeli Mbokazi has never even hinted at such behaviour. Now it’s happened in a couple of days?  The nonsense comes from Broos, not Orlando Pirates –  Malabulabu945

So people expected Hugo Broos to use a filter on Mbekezeli Mbokazi when he hadn’t used it on other players?  We all know Broos, and nothing is shocking about what he said – Mashoodo

Hugo Broos must just drop Mbekezeli Mbokazi from the squad. He is not better than Jayden Adams, who was punished for indiscipline – Bento

Keep up the good work, Hugo Broos. We will remember you for decades. Players have been doing as they please in the national team. Some will hate you, but we know why, because you want what is best for Bafana Bafana –  Thobani

Broos is hurting

Broos is angry, but what were Pirates supposed to do? Throw him under the bus, they don’t approve of what he did, but they defended him, which is good, after all, they had nothing to lose, he’s no longer their player – Vuyo Thabethe

Madala invested a lot in this team, calling out a person like this shows care….he could have just kept quiet and bench him, but he is calling him out – Kolobe

It was nice when he was making fun of Kaizer Chiefs players. Now, everyone is losing their marbles because of comments by Broos on Mbokazi. This guy has no filter; he speaks his mind –  Cue Ge

Leave Mbokazi out of your team; you have already undressed him in public. I doubt he is motivated to play for you at this point – Scocolito Berry

The coach is hurting; his eyes are even teary towards the end. He loves these boys and wants to see them prosper, but they are disappointing him. If Rassie Erasmus were in this situation, the player would never play for the Springboks again for as long as he is the coach – Letsholo
