Chiefs, Pirates and Sundowns select XI to face Magesi in Carling Black Label Cup

Published on by Nkosiyabuya Sithole

The Carling All-Stars starting lineup will feature players from each of South Africa's “Big Three” clubs – Mamelodi Sundowns, Kaizer Chiefs, and Orlando Pirates.

The All-Stars team is set to face off against Magesi FC in the Carling Black Label Cup on Saturday, 21 December.

This is after the Clinton Larsen-coached side won the Carling Knockout Cup, defeating Mamelodi Sundowns in the final in November.

Just like last season, Jose Riveiro will be spearheading the side again having been voted by fans.

Riveiro has an opportunity to win this competition for the second time in a row having guided All-Stars last season to a victory against Stellenbosch FC.
