Chiefs young midfielder attracts interest from 3 PSL clubs ahead of transfer deadline

Kaizer Chiefs young midfielder Sabelo Radebe has garnered interest from three clubs in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) just one day prior to the transfer deadline.

Radebe is one of the Chiefs products who have struggled to break into the first line up since earning promotion to the first team in 2021.

Newly appointed Amakhosi Nasreddine Nabi indicated his intention to loan out a handful of players to ensure they gain valuable playing time, thereby allowing him to maintain a more manageable squad.

Radebe is among those players who may potentially depart from Naturena just before the transfer window closes.

According to Soccer Laduma, he has attracted interest from SuperSport United, AmaZulu FC and Stellenbosch FC.

WHO ARE THREE CLUBS INTERESTED IN SABELO RADEBE?

“Sabelo Radebe is one of the players that the coach has indicated needs to go on loan to gain more game-time,” said the Soccer Laduma source.

“The midfield is packed with experienced and high-quality players, some of whom are currently outperforming Sabelo. It wouldn't be fair to keep him on the sidelines while he trains every day.

“Hence, the decision to loan him out and allow him to play regularly is crucial.

“It's not just about loaning out a player; it's important that he goes to a club where he will actually play.

“There has been interest from SuperSport United, as coach Gavin Hunt is familiar with him, as well as from AmaZulu and Stellenbosch FC.

“The remaining task in the next few days is to determine which team is the best fit for him and to agree on the terms of the loan deal.

“The club is working diligently to ensure this happens before the transfer window closes on Friday.”
