How Bafana Bafana could line up against Congo?

Published on by

Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos isn’t someone who likes to chop and change the line-up too much. Over the past two years, he has established a solid foundation for the team.

Most of the players that used to be part of his team during his early days, like Bongokuhle Hlongwane, Ethan Brooks, Miguel Timm, Yusuf Maart and many others have been missing out.

The Belgian coach has effectively familiarised himself very well with South African football, assembling a competitive team.

He continues to integrate new players into the system gradually, and thus far, everything appears to be progressing as intended.

With Bafana set to take on Congo Brazzaville in back-to-back AFCON qualifiers, there are a few faces in the team.

This includes Thabiso Sesane (Orlando Pirates) who was called to replace the injured Siyabonga Ngezana.

Meanwhile, Sixolo Kwayiba (Chippa United) stepped in for Jayden Adams, who was removed from the squad due to his late arrival.

Returning players such as Luke Le Roux and Bathusi Aubaas bring past experience to the squad.
