Mamelodi Sundowns striker Iqraam Rayners has urged his teammates to be cautious about relegation-fighting Chippa United who they play in a hastily rearranged PSL fixture on Friday night.

“It is always going to be a difficult one because when it approaches the end of the season,” Rayners said as per Sunday World.

“It is always difficult to play against teams that are at the bottom of the log because they are fighting for their jobs, for their lives, and for their families. For us, it is not going to be easy, and we must keep up with the momentum, win our games, and keep it one game at a time.”

Sundowns defender Khulumani Ndamane may have arrived at Chloorkop in the January transfer window but he is already looking ahead to playing abroad in the near future.

The 21-year-old joined Sundowns from TS Galaxy and has been impressive in the last two months for the PSL champions but he is not ruling out a transfer overseas.

“For myself, I hope to see myself growing forward. Maybe, if it’s possible, to go overseas. I think that would make me happy,” he told KickOff.

Coetzee on why he only watches Sundowns games

Former Mamelodi Sundowns star Rivaldo Coetzee has revealed that he does not watch PSL games apart from those involving the Brazilians.

“Sundowns always play that way [attractive football] but look who they are playing against, most of the time – I want to see two teams going against each other, not an open game, but give the opponent something, not just sit back defend and counter,” he said as per iDiski Times.
