Orlando Pirates have been playing an attacking game, creating scoring opportunities, but the conversion rate has been wanting.
One of the players who has been guilty of missing clear-cut opportunities is Yanela Mbuthuma, who joined in the off-season transfer window. He has made 20 appearences for the Soweto giants across all competitions, but has managed to score seven goals and provide three assists.

The former Orlando Pirates attacker Andries Sebola has now advised the striker to appease his ancestors, who can help him hit the back of the net regularly.
“Mbuthuma is always getting scoring opportunities, but he can’t convert, which is something I fail to understand,” he said in his interview with Kick-Off.
A goat will be the answer…
“Maybe he needs to pay a visit home so he can slaughter a goat, which might help him to make use of the chances he gets. His positioning inside the box is always good, but he struggles to put his chances away. Definitely, a goat will be the answer as it will bring him luck,” he added.
“Sometimes your ancestors who passed away long ago are not happy with you for not appearing to them. I have never seen him wearing isiphandla like the likes of Nkosinathi Sibisi often do.

“He must do some slaughtering and ask for goals. He rushes things once inside the box, and that’s when composure is required. After he slaughters a goat for his ancestors, once he scores one goal, many will follow.” Sebola concluded.
The next assignment for the Soweto giants will be on Wednesday, March 11, against Richards Bay at the Orlando Amstel Stadium.
