Bafana Bafana coach Pitso Mosimane has expressed his delight at the performance of defender Lebone Seema during his team’s friendly match against Egypt.
Seema was one of the outstanding players as South Africa ended their September-October international assignments with a 1-0 win thanks to Puso Dithejane’s 50th minute strike.

The Orlando Pirates defender did not put a foot wrong and was particularly impressive when marking Egypt striker Omar Marmoush.
The Tottenham Hotspur striker did not get a sniff at goal as Seema tracked his every move and the one moment when he got a shot, the Pirates centre-back put his body on the line to direct the ball out.

Mosimane lauds Pirates defender
It was just the second game in the colours of Bafana for Seema, and his first start for the national team, but he looked assured, composed and did not panic, giving the rest of the defence confidence.
“Marmoush was a little bit of a problem. You can see why he’s playing in the Premier League, right? He’s fast, he’s quick, but Lebone [Seema] is quick. So it was good,” Mosimane told SAFA media over the Pirates star’s performance.

The 23-year-old, voted Defender of the Season in the PSL last season, has been enhancing his reputation with every game and looks set to give Mosimane a selection headache in future games.
A mainstay in the Pirates’ defence, the former TS Galaxy star is known for his quality passing, precise tackles and never panics under pressure, despite his limited experience.
