In a bid to bolster their squad for a demanding season, Mamelodi Sundowns have secured the signing of a record-breaker – the youngest player ever to debut in the PSL.

The Tshwane giants face a demanding season with seven competitions on the horizon, necessitating reinforcements for their already star-studded squad.

Sundowns' recent departures of Gaston Sirino, Bongani Zungu, Brian Onyango, and Thabiso Kutumela further highlight the need for replacements.

The Brazilians have made their first move of the transfer window, securing South African winger Kobamelo Kodisang on a long-term contract from the Portuguese club Moreirense.

The 24-year-old penned a five-year deal with the DStv Premiership champions that will keep him at the club until June 2029.

At just 15 years and 363 days old, Kodisang etched his name in history as the PSL's third-youngest debutant, achieved during his time with Platinum Stars. Mkhanyiseli Siwahla holds the top spot, followed by Steve Lekolea.
