The Namibia international says he has no problem with Nyoso and will soon find a solution after the Bucs misunderstandings.
Orlando Pirates star Deon Hotto is ready to mend his relationship with former teammate and Mamelodi Sundowns attacker Thembinkosi Lorch.
The Namibia international conceded he was not seeing eye to eye with Nyoso at the Sea Robbers after his move to the club from the now-defunct Bidvest Wits. The versatile Bucs star claimed Lorch was unhappy with his arrival since it would have reduced his playing time for the Soweto giants.
The now Masandawana star was not at his best when Hotto arrived, owing to injuries and inconsistencies. It explains why he was unhappy with the Namibian who was fitter and ready to prove his worth for Bucs.
However, the 33-year-old is adamant the grudge was in the past, and he is now ready to get a solution to reinstate his relationship with the Brazilians' midfielder.
‘We haven't met’
Hotto has further stated he could have solved the issue a long time ago, but his involvement in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations with Namibia made it impossible.
“There is no relationship, [Lorch] is not here anymore, and I had to settle this with him but it was about time the league was finishing,” the winger told the media.
“I went to the national team for Afcon and while I was on the other side, I heard he was leaving. So we haven’t met or sat down just to [find a solution], most definitely [I would want to make amends] I will.”
Lorch's future at Sundowns is not clear after the exit of Rulani Mokwena who pushed for his signing. Hotto has been a key player at Bucs where coach Jose Riveiro has been using him in the left-back position for an extended period.
