The highly anticipated Premier Soccer League's Soweto Derby between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates will be held on Saturday at the FNB Stadium.
The last one was played on February 1 and ended 1-0 in favour of the Buccaneers, who have since had a relatively good campaign across all competitions. They still feel they can go all the way and win the league despite being 12 points behind the defending champions, Mamelodi Sundowns.
The Glamour Boys are chasing a place in the top eight, explaining why they desperately need a win this weekend. Have a look at what the fans are saying ahead of the game.
What are Pirates fans saying?

You can lose all the remaining games, which is fine, but you can’t lose on Saturday. We can’t let those people take a Cup, never mind beating us. We will be a laughing stock for the next 10 years – Shara Ntangana
Pirates should just release Coach Riveiro before these boys dent his legacy. Monnapule Saleng should also be let go because you don't need him – Vusani
Also ask some of our boys to learn that first touch and weight of the pass are basics that can’t be taught to a professional player. We can’t afford to have professional players who can’t trap and lose possession in key transition areas. We have many ball recoveries, but we lose them carelessly. Hence, we lose games we should have won; the last two games were individual mistakes. If we lose to Chiefs, it will be because of silly mistakes like the ones I just mentioned. We need results in both derbies, and we forgive you, gents – Azwindini Ramphinwa
The same boys have been running from the beginning of the league to the domestic Cups and Caf Champions League. Coaches from other teams can easily read our game. Can you please surprise the enemy on Saturday and introduce a few of the other players who are injury-free? – Shela Lamola
A big institution like this one is failing to deal with matters that really cost the team. Your failure to work out the issue of Saleng has been your greatest downfall this season. We may pretend not to care about him, but in all honesty, we missed him throughout – Sthembiso Zthera Hlophe
What are Chiefs fans saying?

Best of luck Khosi Nation, I'm so hoping coach Nasreddine Nabi will give Brandon Petersen another chance – Leonard Tshepo T-man
I don't care what happens in this game, but you must win on May 10 in the Nedbank Cup final – MasiMethembe Siyalane
All the best to Amakhosi. Kaizer Chiefs management must also consider the fact that Itu Khune doesn’t want to retire, he’s still eager to play. Imagine the distribution from him to Glody Lilepo or Gaston Sirino. I miss that gentleman on the field. But I’m also behind all players who will be on the team sheet – Loyiso Sesethu Jezile
It's really a shame that the big club in the history of Johannesburg, South Africa, the Kaizer Chiefs no longer have the strength to beat teams at home, it's really very unfortunate – Og Lottas
Please give Peterson a chance for the rest of the remaining matches this season. Bvuma will get a chance next season in another team – Thobani Dikaiosuné Mngomezulu
