Orlando Pirates won almost all the available awards at the 2025/26 PSL Awards Gala owing to the exemplary performance that saw them win a treble.

The Abdeslam Ouaddou-led team defied the odds to go all the way and win the Premier Soccer League title, their first in 14 years. Apart from the PSL crown, the Soweto giants secured MTN8 and Carling Knockout.

Kaizer Chiefs – who were under interim co-coaches Cedric Kaze and Khalil Ben Youssef, finished third for the first time in six years.

Debutants Durban City shocked Mzansi by going all the way to win the Nedbank Cup which secured them the CAF Confederation Cup ticket, while Orbit College and Magesi FC were relegated.

Mamelodi Sundowns struggled to deliver in Mzansi, but they delivered on the continent as they won the CAF Champions League, their second in the club’s history.
