Dithejane, Nkota: The 10 highest-rated South Africans in EA FC 27 – Where is Mofokeng?

Recently, EA FC 27 released their list of top-rated footballers in the world, including South Africa, ranking both men and women.

“Built by authentic match data, football expertise, and decades of credibility, Ratings in EA SPORTS FC 27 reflect the standout players across men’s and women’s football performing at the highest level,” they explained on their website.

“With 21,000+ players across 800+ clubs and national teams, 140 stadiums and 35+ leagues, EA SPORTS FC™ Ratings authentically represent The World’s Game,” they further stated.

The highest-rated South Africans (16-20)

In the 20th position is former SuperSport United winger Shandre Campbell who turns out for Belgian Pro League outfit KV Kortrijk. Beveren forward Kurt Abrahams is placed falls in the bracket as well, alongside Portsmouth midfielder Luke Le Roux.

Ex-Orlando Pirates winger Mohau Nkota, who plays for El-Ettifaq and the 29-year-old versatile Omonia midfielder Mihlali Mayambela are in this section.

Who else made the top 20? (11-15)

At position 15 we have midfielder Kegs Chauke, who is contracted to Burton Albion, with SV Oberbank Ried midfielder Jaedin Rhodes being placed following him.

The other three are Puso Dithejane – Chicago Fire, Waylon Renecke – Hammarby IF, and Tylon Smith – QPR, respectively.

Top 10 players in South Africa

Gift Links of AGF is at number one, followed by Lyle Foster who turns out for Championship side Burnley. At number three is Chicago Fire defender Mbekezeli Mbokazi while former Orlando Pirates attacker Relebohile Mofokeng – who is now with Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, is placed fourth.

Yusuf Maart, Ime Okon, Bongokuhle Hlongwane, Olwethu Makhanya, Samukele Kabini and Siyabonga Ngezana complete the top 10 list.
