Themba Zwane is widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers of his generation in South African football.
He currently plays for the dominant Mamelodi Sundowns in the Betway Premiership and is a regular member of the South Africa national team.
Zwane serves as the captain for Sundowns and a vice-captain for Bafana Bafana.
Zwane has been a key figure at Mamelodi Sundowns for over a decade, joining the club in January 2011 from the semi-pro club Vardos FC.
Due to limited playing time early in his Sundowns career, he was loaned out to Mpumalanga Black Aces in the 2013/14 season.

Towards the end of that season, he made his Bafana Bafana debut against Australia, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
Zwane returned to Sundowns the following season and became a regular starter under the guidance of Pitso Mosimane.
