Unlucky Ntseki! Former Chiefs coach sent packing alongside Malesela

Former Kaizer Chiefs coach Molefi Ntseki has been relieved of his job as Marumo Gallants' Technical Director owing to the club's recent poor run.

The club has been struggling for consistency in the Premier Soccer League under current tactician Dan ‘Dance' Malesela. Ntseki was brought on board to help Bahlabane Ba Ntwa get wins consistently, something that he did not manage if recent results are anything to consider.

Gallants have lost their last three Premier Soccer League matches, and won just one in the last five league outings, with the remaining one ending in a draw.

Malesela was sent on a special leave back in December before making a return to the team. However, the recent 3-1 loss against Mamelodi Sundowns on Wednesday, seemingly, led to the decision to fire the technical team.

“Marumo Gallants FC has released Head Coach Dan Malesela and Technical Director Molefi Ntseki following the club’s struggle to improve its league standing,” Gallants

“Currently 14th on the log with just four wins from 17 matches, Gallants is looking for a fresh approach. The club appreciates their contributions and wishes them well in their future endeavours.

“In the interim, Assistant Coaches Sundra Govender and Duncan Lechesa will oversee the team while the process of appointing a permanent head coach is finalised.”

The next assignment for Gallants will be on Sunday afternoon against Polokwane City at the Dr. Petrus Molemela Stadium.
