AmaZulu FC co-head coach Arthur Zwane has made a bold statement ahead of their upcoming Betway Premiership clash against Orlando Pirates.
The two sides will take on each other on Friday, 25 October at Orlando Stadium.
Pirates will face SuperSport United at the same venue, aiming to rebound from their early exit from the Carling Knockout Cup following their defeat to Magesi FC.
Meanwhile, AmaZulu were also eliminated from the competition by Stellenbosch FC on Friday.
Speaking after that game, Zwane said they are not concerned about the Sea Robbers and believes they can beat anyone in this league.
ZWANE SAYS THEY CAN BEAT ANYONE IN THE LEAGUE
“We want our players to play without fear, you can’t be in the Premier League and have fear to win games,” said Zwane.
“We can beat anyone. Stellenbosch, with the quality team that they have, last week they were playing the final and they did very well.
“We gave them a thing or two to learn from us also. It wasn’t a walk in the park for them.

“When you look at where we come from and where we are right now, anyone could have said, ‘No, Stellenbosch are through already’.
“As much as they are through, they had to dig deep for them to go through to the next round.”
Zwane also pinpointed areas that they need to go back to drawing boards and work on as they look to turn things around at Usuthu.
WHAT AMAZULU NEED TO FIX
“So, there are no easy games in the PSL and we still have a lot to do in terms of trying to make sure that there’s tactical flexibility in the squad, there’s tactical understanding and tactical endurance,” added Zwane.
“All those things are going to help us. You just have seen today, our tactical endurance was fluctuating. Had we had sort of consistency in it, it would have paid off.
“But yeah, like I said, we are not worried about opposition at the moment, we are worried about our squad. We want to get the best out of the players.”
