The Betway Premiership will wrap up its 2025 calendar with a thrilling midweek round of fixtures, as 12 teams battle for crucial points in the final matches of the year.
Durban Derby Opens the Action
The week kicks off on Tuesday, 2 December, with a KwaZulu-Natal derby at the King Goodwill Zwelithini Stadium, where Lamontville Golden Arrows host AmaZulu for the first time this season.
Golden Arrows have endured mixed fortunes in recent weeks, recording two wins and three defeats in their last five matches. They currently occupy 10th place on the log with 16 points from 13 games.
AmaZulu, meanwhile, have enjoyed a strong start to the campaign and sit fifth with 21 points from 13 matches. Usuthu will be eager to bounce back after suffering a derby defeat to Richards Bay on 28 November.

Wednesday: Title Race and Survival Battles
Five fixtures headline Wednesday’s schedule, with reigning champions Mamelodi Sundowns visiting Siwelele at the Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium in Bloemfontein.
Sundowns were knocked off the summit by Orlando Pirates, who beat Durban City 2-0 at the weekend to claim top spot. Masandawana now trail the Buccaneers by three points, having collected 25 points from 12 matches and losing only once this season. A win would see them draw level at the top.
Siwelele, in contrast, are struggling in their debut top-flight season. They sit 12th with 15 points from 14 games, having suffered seven defeats.
Elsewhere on Wednesday:
- Chippa United vs Kaizer Chiefs – Chiefs (4th, 22 points) aim to keep pressure on the leaders, while Chippa (bottom, 8 points) fight to escape the drop zone.
- Magesi vs Sekhukhune United – Magesi (15th, 11 points) seek a lifeline; Sekhukhune (3rd, 22 points) look to end a five-game winless streak.
- Orbit College vs Durban City – Orbit (13th) hope to avoid relegation; Durban City (8th) target a top-eight finish.
- Stellenbosch vs Polokwane City – Stellies (14th) fight to widen the gap from danger; Polokwane (7th) chase MTN8 qualification.
