‘Chiefs far from getting better, Nabi not cooking anything at the moment’

Mduduzi Shabalala saved Kaizer Chiefs blushes when he scored the lone goal of the match against Chippa United at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

The youngster was impressive throughout the game despite the Glamour Boys' struggles in the second half. A good number of Amakhosi fans were unhappy with the team's display especially after the break.

A few have now questioned the ability of coach Nasreddine Nabi to lead Amakhosi, while others insist new faces are needed in the January transfer window. Have a look at their arguments.

With current defense Bvuma can make Bafana squad

It is sad to see a youngster like Mduduzi Shabalala carrying a big team like Kaizer Chiefs on his shoulders, while we have so many experienced players. But big up to the young boy he is really something else –  Nonhlanhla Dube

As I said before Bruce Bvuma only needs to be given a chance. With the current defense he can even make it to the national team –  Sabelo Walking Blessing

Ashley du Preez is a fantastic player, with surprising skills, Nasreddine Nabi is the one who doesn't know how to use him. He should put him in a wider position, specifically outside the stadium – Wandile S Gumede

I am really not impressed why every time our boys when they score they start relaxing like they’ve won the match second half we were never in the game and kept on defending too deep -Sphiwe Ngubane

This won't change the fact that Mduduzi Shabalala is better than the overrated Relebohile Mofokeng – Ceeyten Comedian

Chiefs management please get new players

We can still win the league. We just need to build from this win. There are plenty of games left to play for – Lebohang Juta Vanda

Kaizer Chiefs are far from getting better, coach Nasreddine Nabi is not cooking anything at the moment – Balesh Mau

This game though! It was boring, shocking, frustrating, lacking in character, pointless really. We watched 45 minutes of Chipa United free-kicks. The ball couldn’t stay on the grass and make its way up the field – Katlego Letlonkane

We are going to January, Kaizer Chiefs management please get Nabi the players he wants – Abuti Ntsi Malaza

Still a lot to be done here. After removing Yusuf Maart, we went back to defending. We can't be pushed back by Chippa United. It's a win but not convincing enough – Bhuti Nkuluh Menziwa
