Chiefs to miss six key players against TS Galaxy

Kaizer Chiefs will be without several key players, including star signing Gaston Sirino, when they face TS Galaxy on Monday afternoon.

Amakhosi, who are seeking their first league win in three matches, will be hoping to turn their fortunes around at Mbombela Stadium. However, their task will be made more difficult by the absence of key players.

Sirino, who has been a standout performer for Chiefs since his arrival, is unavailable due to undisclosed circumstances.

WHY SIRINO WON’T BE AVAILABLE

It's been reported that the Uruguayan forward is facing disciplinary action for alleged misconduct, including feigning injuries and disregarding club protocols.

In addition to Sirino, Chiefs will be without Bradley Cross, Bongani Sam, Edmilson Dove, Dillan Solomons, and Brandon Petersen due to various injuries.

With a depleted squad, head coach Nasreddine Nabi is likely to turn to Fiacre Ntwari in goal and will have to rely on the remaining players to step up and deliver.

“The injured players include midfielders Edson Castillo, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo and Gaston Sirino, defenders Dillan Solomons and Bradley Cross, as well as goalkeeper Brandon Petersen,” the club posted on its website.
