Kaizer Chiefs have been desperate to get a new striker to help them take the many chances they create.

In January, they brought in Tashreeq Morris to replace the struggling Christian Saile, but the former has not delivered as anticipated. Ranga Chivaviro was released recently after scoring just nine goals in his 45 games for the club in the two seasons he spent there.
