PSL Transfers News: All New Confirmed Signings in 2024-25

The latest news on incomings and outgoings in the South African top flight

The PSL transfer window officially opened in July but clubs were not waiting until then to start or complete their recruitment.

A number of clubs had already bolstered their squads while some are still assessing targets before completing the deals.

For some players, contracts are coming to an end and that means looking for new homes or negotiating fresh terms.

Afrik Foot brings you all the confirmed incomings and departures in the PSL so far.


The PLS champions are believed to be looking to offload up to 19 players but so far, only five departures have been confirmed while they have confirmed one arrival.

IN: Kobamelo Kodisang (Moreirense)

OUT: Bongani Zungu, Brian Onyango, Gaston Sirino, Thabiso Kutumela and Junior Mendieta (FC Volos).


The Buccaneers have so far offloaded seven players, most of whom were surplus to requirements, with two new arrivals.

IN: Delvi Miguel Vieira aka Gilberto (Petro de Luanda) & Thalenthe Mbatha (SuperSport United).

OUT: Kermit Erasmus, Thabang Monare, Richard Ofori, Siyabonga Mpontshane, Fortune Makaringe, Souaibou Marou & Vincent Pule.


Kaizer Chiefs have put most of their transfer business on hold until a new coach, believed to be Tunisian Nasreddine Nabi, is installed but have so far released five players.

OUT: Keagan Dolly, Siyethemba Sithebe, Njabulo Ngcobo, S'fiso Hlanti & Jasond Gonzalez.


After an impressive third place finish, Stellenbosch FC seem determined to freshen up things and have already released seven players with none signed yet.

OUT: Juan Carlos Ortíz, Reid Bombay, Keegan Pool, Solomon Letsoenyo, Solly Khunyedi, Lance Weaver & Glen Hahn.


After a fourth-place finish, Sekhukhune United released 13 players, appointed a new coach in Herr Peter Hyballa, and have now confirmed seven new additions to the squad.

IN: Thabang Monare (Free), Loydt Kazapua (Free), Vuyo Letlapa (Jomo Cosmos), Keletso Makgalwa (Upington City), Relebogile Mokhuoane (Cape Town City FC), Njabulo Ngcobo (Free), Njabulo Ngcobo (free) & Joseph Mphaga (Highlands Park).

OUT: Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya, Sibusiso Vilakazi, Collins Makgaka, Lebohang Mabotja, Ntokozo Mtsweni, Thamsanqa Masiya, Rally Bwalya, Maloisane Mokhele, Tashreeq Morris, Michael Sarpong, Tshepo Rikhotso, Kamohelo Mokotjo & Edwin Gyimah.


Erick Tinkler’s side have been the busiest in the market so far with nine incomings and nine outgoings.

IN: Alifeyo Sibusiso Ziba (JDR Stars), Haashim Domingo (FAR Rabat) & Prins Tjiueza (Liria Prizren), Lefa Aphane (Tzaneen United), Elson Sithole (Magesi FC), Fortune Makaringe (Orlando Pirates), Kayden Francis (Chippa United), Kamohelo Mokotjo (Free) & Carlos do Carmo (Petro de Luanda).

OUT: Wayde Lekay, Jordan Bender, Bertrand Mani, Lyle Lakay, Thabiso Kutumela, Jo Paciencia, Relebogile Mokhuoane, Bongani Mpandle and Khanya Leshabela.


Recently hit with a transfer ban by FIFA over failure to pay a former player R1.8 million, TS Galaxy will need to clear that hurdle before they can sign players and have not released any yet.

Matsatsantsa have not released any player so far but have confirmed one signing.

Like SuperSport United, there is still no confirmed transfer activity at Polokwane City although Mashikinya, Lucky Baloyi and Obed Thuto are rumoured to be on their way out.

There is no much movement at Golden Arrows so far with only two signings made while no one has left the club.

After a disappointing 11th place finish, Usuthu have started by addressing the attack with a new striker secured after parting ways with four players.

IN: Senzo Ndlovu (Sinenkani FC)

OUT: Augustine Kwem, George Maluleka & Veluyeke Zulu & Victor Letsoalo.


The Chilli Boys have shaken up things in a major way with 16 players released and seven singed so far.

 IN: Andile Jali (Free) & Giovanni Philander (FN Rangers), Aphelele Teto (TS Galaxy), Samkelo Jali (Maritzburg United), Sifiso Mazibuko (Jomo Cosmos), Xolani Shitole (Pretoria Callies FC) & Thobani Jacobs (Addo).

OUT: Luvuyo Memela, Roscoe Petersen, Senzo Nkwanyana, Loydt Kazapua, Azola Ntsabo, Siyabonga Nhlapo, Siphelele Luthuli, Darren Johnson, Menzi Ndwandwe, Andile Fakude, Kamohelo Mahlatsi, Diego Apollis, Khanyisile Mayo, Siseko Manona, Yurig Conwood, and Andile Mbenyane.


With their transfer ban, Royal AM are still not able to bring in new players and have not released anyone yet.

The Dube Birds escaped relegation by the skin of their teeth and have been acquired by Marumo Gallants which has delayed transfer activities as nothing has been confirmed.

With their PSL status confirmed, Richards Bay are already planning for next season and have roped in six players, while releasing one.

Newly-promoted Magesi FC have not hit the ground running yet in a bid to strengthen the team for the tough PSL challenge that awaits them.
