Bafana Bafana are among the teams that have secured the right to represent Africa in the 2026 FIFA World Cup to be held jointly by the United States, Mexico and Canada.

The slot was confirmed on Tuesday evening after a 3-0 win over Rwanda in Group C, coupled with Benin's 4-0 defeat against the Super Eagles of Nigeria. It will be the first time the country will be playing in the prestigious competition since 2010 when they hosted it.
