Kaizer Chiefs product Puso Dithejane has settled in Major League Soccer, where he turns out for the Chicago Fire.
The versatile attacker joined the American outfit alongside former Orlando Pirates centre-back Mbekezeli Mbokazi late last year. While the latter made an immidiate impact, Dithejane took time to hit the ground running.

In the four games played this season, the 22-year-old has found the back of the net three times.
The latest strike was on Wednesday night in the Chicago Fire’s 2-1 victory over Orlando City SC. It was the club’s sixth victory in a row, their longest winning run since 1998.
Dithejane opens up on Lewandowski’s influence
The former TS Galaxy player is delighted with the winning streak, before revealing what the legendary Polish striker Robert Lewandowski shaped him especially in the final third.
“We told ourselves we have lots of games coming and we told ourselves we have to win all those games, it’s all on the mind, mentality has to be right going into a game and we go to win,” Dithejane opened up to the media after the win.
“[Lewandowski] has been helping me with finishing, getting into spaces, and teaching me how to relax in the box; that’s how we learn from legends,” he concluded.
If he sustains his form, the creative attacker will definitely be considered by the new Bafana Bafana technical team for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The next fixture for Dithejane and Chicago Fire will be on Saturday, August 22, against Red Bull New York.
