REVEALED: French Ligue 1 team monitoring Sesane

A French Ligue 1 club monitoring Orlando Pirates defender Thabiso Sesane has been revealed.

The talented young centre-back has been one of the standout performers for the Buccaneers, particularly towards the end of last season and this campaign.

His solid partnership with Olisa Ndah who’s now injured has been crucial for the team's defensive stability.

Sesane's impressive performances at Pirates have caught the eye of European scouts.

His recent Bafana Bafana call-ups and participation in the CAF Champions League have further enhanced his profile.

As Montpellier seeks to bolster their defensive line with a young and experienced centre-back, Sesane could be an ideal target.

WHICH FRENCH LIGUE 1 TEAM WANTS SESANE?

“You remember the club Keagan Dolly used to play for in France? (Montpellier FC). That's the one interested in Sesane. They have been monitoring him more frequently these days,” said Soccer Laduma’s source.

“They have scouts in Africa and some of them actually work closely in South Africa and that's how they identified him. That could be a great move for him at this age as he can easily adapt to the new league and culture.

“They are looking for a young but experienced defender and now with Pirates playing in the CAF Champions League it is actually good for Thabiso.

“It's good because he is gaining the valuable experience that Montpellier are looking for. It will work to his advantage. Also with call-ups to Bafana Bafana, soon he will start playing and things will go well for him.”
