Orlando Pirates defender Thabiso Sesane has reportedly attracted interest from a French Ligue 1 club.
The young centre-back has been a standout performer for the Buccaneers since breaking into the first team towards the end of last season.
His impressive performances have made him a regular starter under coach Jose Riveiro.
Sesane, a product of Pirates' youth academy, is now being eyed by a club in one of Europe's top leagues. According to Soccer Laduma, the South African side has received an enquiry for the 24-year-old.
PIRATES RECEIVE ENQUIRY ABOUT SESANE
“The team in France is impressed with his performance so far,” the club’s insider told Soccer Laduma.
“Yes, he hasn't played that so many games but even with just a game or two you can see his talent and the European based scouts for the team have watched some of his live games and videos as well and they are happy. They have made inquiries and shown interest.
“They are a very good and dependable club but they don't want to jump the gun now and say which team it is.
“But the interest is there and they are very happy with the boy. But for now, let's give all the involved parties the chance to deal with things in their on way until everything is done.”
