‘Well done Kaizer Chiefs! Now announce Khuliso Mudau, Sirino was already finished’

Published on by

Kaizer Chiefs finally announced the exit of Gaston Sirino, who had served the Soweto Giants for two seasons after joining from Mamelodi Sundowns on a free transfer.

The 35-year-old was part of the Amakhosi squad that won the Nedbank Cup in his debut season with the club, but struggled to deliver for the club consistently. Reports are rife that Chiefs wanted him to stay but the new package did not impress him.

The Uruguayan has since been unveiled by Durban City, who are coached by Khalil Ben Youssef. The Citizens will represent the country in the CAF Confederation Cup alongside Amakhosi. Tashreeq Morris is another player who has joined City.
