The SA Department of Correctional Services (DCS) has initiated the Twinning Project in collaboration with Kaizer Chiefs and the FIFA Foundation, specifically targeting female inmates at the Johannesburg Correctional Centre.

This groundbreaking program will be seeking to rehabilitate women offenders by providing football coaching lessons, thus equipping them for successful reintegration into society after their release.

According to a statement from the club and the department, the inmates will be provided with training, mentorship, and opportunities designed to promote their physical, emotional, and social development.

This is in accordance with the department’s dedication to establishing a supportive environment that facilitates positive transformation through rehabilitation.
