We are here to serve Kaizer Chiefs – Kaze
Kaizer Chiefs coach Cedric Kaze has responded to whether he’d love to stay put at the club, as their form begins to improve following a difficult spell earlier this season.
I think that we are here to serve the club and I believe that the consistency has been lacking a little bit because even I remember last season we could win one game or two games at maximum but that consistency of having a run of two, three, four games was a little bit lacking,” Kaze told the media.
“I think that we emphasise every day at training that we need to stay hungry every time, we need to take opportunity of every training, every exercise that we do to improve ourselves because we are in such a big club that you can’t allow yourself to relax or to feel that you have arrived.

“About the last part of the question, we have eight games to go and as coaches we know what we want to do and we are here to serve the club and we will do our best for the remaining games.”
Magesi to miss key player vs Kaizer Chiefs
Magesi FC are set to miss the services of Orlando Pirates loanee Siyabonga Ndlozi in a crucial league clash against Kaizer Chiefs.
The 23-year-old has been a regular starter for Magesi since joining the club on loan from the Buccaneers in January 2025 for the remainder of the current season. In his spell with Dikwena Tsa Meetse so far, Ndlozi has featured in 10 appearances across all competitions.
The right-back will miss the must-win match against Chiefs, alongside midfielder Kgothatso Mariba, who will also serve a one-match suspension due to the accumulation of four yellow cards.
Magesi will be a massive test for Kaizer Chiefs
Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Kenny Niemach says the Betway Premiership encounter against relegation-threatened Magesi FC will prove if the Soweto giants’ wins in the last four matches were not a fluke.
“What is there for Chiefs to win now? They can’t win the title. It will be great if they put themselves in top four, but it’s important for them to keep momentum now that they are winning,” notes Niemach, previewing the fixture with KickOff.
“They must take a leaf out of Sundowns – horses for courses. They must select a side that is prepared to go there and fight tomorrow since they are playing a side that is staring relegation in the eyes, a side that is in the relegation zone,” said Niemach, adding that games against sides on the bottom of the table aren’t easy.

“It’s not going to be a comfortable match, it’s going to be a battle and a bit untidy. As it is now, Magesi must be thinking about how they are going to put up their stalls. They are aware Chiefs is in good form, so they will be tight at the back this time.”
