Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Mduduzi Shabalala is determined to help his team get their second win on the bounce.
Last weekend, the Glamour Boys ended their four-match losing streak with victory over Durban City as Glody Lilepo scored the lone goal at the FNB Stadium to hand his team maximum points.

On Saturday, the Soweto giants will be at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban to play bottom-placed Magesi FC. This will definitely be a tough game for either team; Amakhosi want to push for top-three positions while Dikwena Tsa Meetse are fighting relegation.
Shabalala is delighted that Chiefs beat the Citizens in their last fixture, but is now hoping the trend continues against Magesi this weekend. The 22-year-old further commented about his form.
Shabalala opens up on his Kaizer Chiefs’ struggles
“I think [the match against Durban] was a very difficult game for us. As you know, we’re coming from a defeat in our last games. So, we wanted to win and secure maximum points, and that’s what we did, and we’re looking forward to the next game,” Shabalala conceded to the media.
This season, Shabalala has three goals and an assist in 28 matches for Amakhosi across all competitions, “Obviously, I haven’t been on my best form, so I’m trying all my best to be back and hopefully I hope to be back on the score sheet in our next game. Obviously, we want to win all of our games. We take it one game at a time and we’re looking forward to each and every game. We take it as a cup final,” he stated.

“We are pleading with them to come in numbers and support the team because we are at a very difficult moment now, and so we need everyone to be together and stand with us so that we can do well as a team,” Shabalala concluded.
A win will take the Soweto giants to 36 points from 20 outings which will definitely see them surge upwards on the table.
