Kaizer Chiefs were undone on Saturday in Luanda after falling by a solitary goal against their hosts Kabuscorp in the first preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Despite coming into the match as the favourites, the Soweto giants fell to Julio Motondo's header to secure the victory in the first leg. It means the Glamour Boys have everything to play for on Saturday at the FNB Stadium.
This will be a massive test, once again, for Cedric Kaze and Khalil Ben Youssef, who are currently in charge of the team. The responsibilities were passed to the duo after Amakhosi and head coach Nasreddine Nabi parted ways on mutual consent a couple of days ago.
Despite the loss, Kaze believes they have what it takes to get past the Angolan outfit and secure their place in the next round.
Chiefs just need to be clinical
“We know we can hurt them, even today we had a couple of opportunities to get inside the box and score,” the tactician opened up after the loss at the November Stadium in Luanda.
“We just need to be more clinical when we play them in the second leg,” Kaze concluded.

Prior to this weekend's CAF Confederation Cup outing, Chiefs will host Marumo Gallants at the FNB Stadium on Wednesday in the Premier Soccer League outing. A win in the fixture will be a massive confidence booster for the Soweto giants who are now winless in the last three games across all competitions.
In the last two PSL games, Chiefs have registered a draw and a loss.
