Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Miguel Timm has found a new home just a month after leaving the Soweto giants.
Timm was released by Pirates following the end of his contract, having turned into a bit-part player at the club, but it has not taken long before he landed a new team.
The 33-year-old joined Pirates from Gallants in 2022 and became a key player for the club in the 2022-23 season but has seen his playing time significantly reduced in the last couple of seasons especially after the arrival of Thalente Mbatha to the club from SuperSport United in January 2024.
Which club has signed Miguel Timm?
Timm has now been unveiled by Sekhukhune United who have moved with speed to secure his signature following key midfield departures that included Sipho Mbule, who had been on loan at the club last season.
“Sekhukhune United FC confirms the signing of Miguel Timm, from Orlando Pirates. Miguel brings valuable experience and a positive attitude. Welcome to Babina Noko,” Sekhukhune posted on social media as they welcomed the midfielder.

The former Marumo Gallants midfielder featured in just three matches, two in the CAF Champions League and one in the MTN8, both as a substitute for Pirates last season.
Overall, Timm made 66 appearances in his three years at Pirates and won four trophies, three MTN8s and one Nedbank Cup.
