Swedish heavyweights AIK Fotboll confirmed former Orlando Pirates tactician Jose Riveiro as their coach, effective immediately.

The 48-year-old has been without a team since his sacking by Al Ahly after just seven matches in charge. There were speculations about his future, including going to either Mamelodi Sundowns or Kaizer Chiefs, until the recent announcement by the Swedish heavyweights.
