Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Ronwen Williams has opened up on the problems facing them on and off the pitch this season.
Sundowns have started the season in less-than-ideal conditions, winning two, and drawing one of their three league matches while they were knocked out of the MTN8 at the semi-final by Orlando Pirates last weekend.
To add onto it, Sundowns are locked into a dispute with the club’s best player Lucas Ribeiro, who has filed a case at the FIFA tribunal after accusing them of pricing him out of a move to Qatar SC.
Sundowns have a number of unhappy players

There is also an uncertain future over right-back Khuliso Mudau while youngster Kutlwano Letlhaku is reportedly unhappy at Sundowns for not allowing him to move to Europe.
Williams admits it has not been a happy camp at Sundowns but remains hopeful that they will soon get all their problems behind them and focus on producing positive results.
“Obviously, the space we are in right now it’s not the best space to be in. You can see the guys are still a bit down,” Williams told Sundowns’ media team.

“The mood is not one of the best. Obviously, we had big objectives to start the season on a positive note, which was to go all the way in the MTN8.
“But it wasn’t to be, we just have to do it ourselves and go again. As I said, the mood is not the best, we had a nice reflection to see the good and the bad moments of the past game.
“We just need to move forward. There are a lot of tough lessons to take out of the defeat. We are all hurting with our supporters; we are in this together.”
Sundowns took on Kaizer Chiefs in their fourth PSL match of the season looking to return to winning ways at FNB Stadium.
