Esteghlal seem to be improving somewhat under the guidance of Pitso Mosimane, however, things aren’t well financially between him and the club.

According to Soccer Laduma the former Mamelodi Sundowns mentor has not received his salary from Esteghlal for several months.

It is uncertain why the club has failed to pay the South African coach, reports from Iran suggest that the club is having financial difficulties.

The chairman has reportedly failed to inject money into the club lately.

AGENT FILES OFFICIAL NOTICE TO ESTEGHLAL

According to the report, Mosimane's legal team has filed an official notice to Esteghlal, demanding that all outstanding payments be settled within 15 days.

Failure to reach this deadline will give Mosimane the legal right to unilaterally terminate his contract with the club, in accordance with FIFA regulations.

Moira Thagale, Mosimane's agent, has confirmed these allegations, stating, “It is true, we are owed money.”

Mosimane has guided the team to three wins, drawing six matches and losing on three occasions.
