Pitso Mosimane has enjoyed success in both South Africa and abroad and is currently one of the best on the continent.
After coaching SuperSport United in the early 2000s, he worked as Carlos Alberto Parreira's assistant coach at Bafana Bafana. He then took over at Mamelodi Sundowns where he enjoyed success which attracted Al Ahly of Egypt.
The 60-year-old has won major trophies in Africa including three Caf Champions League trophies as well as Caf Super Cups. He has coached several teams in the Middle East and has not given up on getting an opportunity in Europe.
Despite his successes, Mosimane rates Gavin Hunt and believes the Swanky Boys coach deserves a shot abroad.
Hunt could be ahead of me – Mosimane

“I just believe in working hard and preparing and if you work hard and prepare, you need to know what the world is doing,” Jingles told The Dan Corder Show.
“I need to give credit to the PSL, they prepared me. Without them, I would not be where I am. I played against good opponents, the Gavin Hunts of this world. I mean, the guy has won four [League titles] in the PSL.
“I believe he could have been ahead of me, but you know how life is, chances come to you and you must take them. But I have big respect for somebody like him,” Mosimane concluded.
While Mosimane is a free agent after parting ways with Esteghlal owing to a breach of contract, Hunt is with SuperSport hoping to help them get off the 12th position on the Premier Soccer League table.
