Nedbank Cup semi-Final draw: Teams, dates and where to watch

The 2025/26 Nedbank Cup saw the big dogs get eliminated in the two initial phases (Round of 32 and the Round of 16).

Defending champions Kaizer Chiefs were eliminated by Stellenbosch in their first hurdle. Then Mamelodi Sundowns fell to TS Galaxy in the Round of 16, while Orlando Pirates suffered a shock defeat against second-tier side Casric Stars.

A new winner is now guaranteed outside South Africa’s big three.

What’s at Stake?

Interestingly, only two Premier Soccer League teams are in the last four of the annual competition, with TS Galaxy in the mix alongside Durban City. Second-tier outfits Casric Stars and Milford FC hope to deliver the trophy as well.

Previous Winners & Current Holders

The Nedbank Cup, South Africa’s equivalent of the FA Cup, began in 1971 under different names and was rebranded in 2008. The record-holder is Kaizer Chiefs with 14 titles, followed by Orlando Pirates with 10 and Mamelodi Sundowns with 6.
