Former Orlando Pirates striker Andries Sebola has suggested the difference between the Buccaneers and Mamelodi Sundowns, after the Soweto giants dropped points against Richards Bay.
Sebola believes Pirates came to the game against The Natal Rich Boyz over-confident after scoring 11 goals in the two games prior.
“Over confidence after winning 6-0 and 5-0, it made them relax going to play Richards Bay knowing (thinking) that they will easily collect points against Richards Bay which was difficult for them,” he told Soccer Laduma.
“(But) the title race is still open, it’s still early to talk about who is going to win the league, Sundowns may have a game in hand but it’s still early, because they are still gonna meet Chiefs, who are trying to get their act together.

“Pirates don’t have the experience of winning the league, it’s the first time (for them) to be in this position, Sundowns have been winning the league, they know how to win the league,” Sebola concluded.
‘Surpass all of us’ – Mofokeng told by Jabu
“To you, Rele, boy, you’re a star, you have a great future my boy. This is my advice to you. You have to surpass all of us, including the Steve Lekoeleas and whoever; you must achieve more than us, you have the talent to do that my boy.
“So, I’m saying, keep it up boy. You’ve got all the talent to be one of the greatest players in Africa and the world. I don’t count South Africa.”

Mbatha confident Bucs still in PSL race
Despite their minor setback this past weekend, Orlando Pirates midfielder Thalente Mbatha is not throwing in the towel just yet as the Betway Premiership title race draws close to an end.
“For us, I believe that we’re still in the race,” he told the Orlando Pirates TV.

“And, we have to continue playing our game coz we have to take it one game at a time.
“We are running our own race, and I believe that is something we must continue doing.”
