Ouaddou to lose talented midfielder to North African outfit JS Kabylie?

Orlando Pirates have added nine new players to their team ahead of the 2025/26 Premier Soccer League campaign.

Coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has been supported by the management in the Sea Robbers' bid to make a statement domestically and abroad. After coming close for three consecutive years, the Buccaneers believe they can go a step further and win the league ahead of Mamelodi Sundowns who have won it for eight consecutive years.

Another massive task will be in the Caf Champions League, where Bucs hope to win after reaching the semi-final in the concluded edition.

Pirates to lose their creative midfielder?

Despite bringing in some quality names, the Soweto giants might end up losing some to other teams who are also revamping their teams.

“Pirates attacking midfielder Karim Kimvuidi is understood to have drawn interest from Algerian outfit JS Kabylie,” FARPost reported.

“However, Kabylie are unwilling to spend significantly to acquire the player’s services. It remains to be seen whether the club will make an enquiry with the Buccaneers,” they added.

The Congolese attacker has been with Bucs for two seasons after joining them from Maritzburg United, who are now called Durban City. He scored two goals in his debut season from the 22 games played across all competitions.

Injuries limited his game time last season, where he featured just 15 times with a goal to his name. However, he might be the solution to JS Kabylie who are desperately looking for a creative and attacking midfielder to help them unlock defenses and score as well.
