Qatar SC star Percy Tau has made a return to Bafana Bafana squad along with six new faces in the team set to play 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Hugo Broos’ men are going to Lesotho and Benin later this month as they aim to take the top spot in the standings, with Rwanda currently leading.
Bafana lock horns with Likuena on Monday, 17 March at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium while they will take on Les Guépards on the following Monday, 24 March at the same venue.
Tau last played for South Africa in the World Cup qualifying match against Nigeria in June in the match that ended with a 1-1 draw.
Other new faces included are Samukelo Kabini, Khulekani Ndamane (both TS Galaxy), Ndamulelo Maphangule (Polokwane City), Deano Van Rooyen (Orlando Pirates), Siphesihle Mkhize (Sekhukhune United) and Ashley Cupido and Thabo Moloisane (Stellenbosch).
