Baroka FC caretaker coach Foster Hlongwane has advised the club’s youngster Kabelo Kgositsile to humble himself and learn from Orlando Pirates starlet Relebohile Mofokeng.
The 20-year-old has been a bright spot for Baroka, where he has played for most of his career, and was involved in his club’s Nedbank Cup defeat to Orlando Pirates on Saturday, when they lost 3-1.
His coach is happy to have him in the squad but thinks he can learn a lot from Mofokeng, who has remained humble, despite the hype surrounding him, thanks to his immense talents.
Baroka star should learn from Mofokeng

“For him to be grounded, you look at Rele Mofokeng, I think he can learn a lot from him. Talent alone, you cannot do anything,” Hlongwane said regarding the attacking midfielder.
“I think you need to be humble and be grounded at some point; it is our job as coaches. I think he can grow not only him.
“We have another youngster who we signed from Castle (SAB League), he didn’t play today, there’s too much potential in the team, I just wish they can remain humble and grounded, also respect the game.
What has Rele done at Orlando Pirates?

“The most important thing in this game is to be humble. I think if he can do that, he can do something for the country.”
Mofokeng has sprung to prominence in the last two seasons and remains one of the leading lights in South African football with eight goals and 11 assists to his name in 30 matches already this season.
The 20-year-old has been instrumental in the Buccaneers’ push for the title race as well as their qualification to the CAF Champions League quarter-final.
