15-time Premier Soccer League (PSL) title holders Mamelodi Sundowns are exploring a move for Super Eagles of Nigeria defender Olisa Ndah, Afrik Foot exclusively reports.

However, talks remain at an early stage despite speculation suggesting progress towards an advanced agreement.

Ndah, currently a free agent, became available after leaving Stellenbosch FC on 01 July 2026 following a short spell in South Africa’s Western Cape province.

The centre-back joined the club on 17 February 2026 and went on to make seven appearances before his departure at the end of the 2025/26 campaign.

Sundowns are understood to be monitoring his situation as they look to reinforce their defensive options ahead of the new season, with Ndah among the names being assessed internally.

Agent confirms Sundowns’ interest

However, the player’s camp has moved to clarify the situation, insisting that while there is interest, no formal negotiations have reached an advanced stage.

Speaking to Afrik Foot ZA, Ndah’s agent confirmed the current status of discussions.

“There is interest, but nothing concrete,” the agent said.

At this stage, no agreement has been reached, with Ndah still weighing up his options as interest continues to build from multiple clubs.

The situation remains open—with interest real, but no deal yet on the table.
