Mamelodi Sundowns forward Iqraam Rayners believes one of his team-mates will move to Europe soon due to his great technical ability.
Rayners has seen enough from midfielder Jayden Adams to be convinced that it will not be long before he makes the big jump in his career, having played with him at Stellenbosch, and now at Sundowns.
Adams joined the PSL champions in the January transfer window and has blossomed in midfield alongside Teboho Mokoena and Marcello Allende, adding dynamism and creativity to their game, and has also contributed three goals and two assists for his new team.
Rayners full of praise for his ‘quality’ team-mate

The midfielder also earned a recall to the Bafana Bafana team where he played in the March World Cup qualifiers, scoring a goal against Benin, and Rayners is predicting a big jump in his career in the next two years.
“I know Jayden’s ability since [playing with him] at Stellenbosch, I know his qualities also, he’s a good player that’s fit in quickly at Sundowns, I know what he is capable of doing, I’m just happy he is here with us, it’s a good opportunity for him also moving forward [in his career],” Rayners said as quoted by iDiski Times.
“He is technically good, there’s many players here that’s also good, they always help him to improve his game, they give him advice because he is still young.
When will Jayden Adams be ripe for Europe?

“He was 12 years old when he joined us in the First Division, he was already good, you could see there’s something there,” Rayners further said of his ex-Stellenbosch team-mate.
“And I think after the years he improved and improved, I’m happy for him, I think in the next one or two seasons he could go to Europe.”
The 23-year-old has been going from strength to strength since joining Sundowns and has helped elevate the game for Miguel Cardoso’s team, who are now able to open up teams that sit back, due to his ability to play in tight spaces.
Adams will be relied upon to supply the ammunition as Sundowns go in search of victory against Al Ahly of Egypt in their CAF Champions League semi-final second leg in Cairo on Friday following a goalless first leg at Loftus Versfeld last weekend.
