The Buccaneers are out to avoid an upset to secure second round ticket
Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro has made three changes to his squad for their CAF Champions League match against Disciples FC on Friday night.
Goalkeeper Sipho Chaine has retained his place in goal with Olisah Ndah and Thabiso Sesane partnering in central defence, the latter coming for Nkosinathi Sibisi, while Deon Hotto and Thabiso Monyane feature at left-back and right-back respectively.
In central midfield, there are wholesome changes with Thalente Mbatha partnering Kabelo Dlamini after Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo and Makhehlene Makhaula started the first leg last weekend.
Pirates in must-win situation
Patrick Maswanganyi will maintain his place in the no.10 role just behind the main man upfront Tshegofatso Mabasa, with Relebohile Mofokeng and Monnapule Saleng playing on the wings.
Pirates are out to secure victory after a goalless draw in the first leg which will give them an opportunity to advance to the second preliminary round.
Jose Riveiro’as men are playing in front of a sold-out Orlando Stadium which should act as extra motivation against the Madagascar champions.
