Orlando Pirates winger Monnapule Saleng’s unhappiness at the club is seemingly a growing concern.
left-footed winger has yet to sign a new contract with the club, with his current deal expiring at the end of the season.
Saleng has reportedly been skipping training sessions and has been absent from action for extended periods.
Sources indicate that Pirates blocked a potential move abroad for the player, which has significantly impacted his morale and fueled his desire to leave the club.
Saleng was part of the team that was preparing for the CAF Champions League group stage clash against Stade d’Abidjan.
He was seen sitting with his teammates in the stands during the match.
SALENG NOT CELEBRATING GOALS WITH TEAMMATES
During the match, Pirates players watching from the stands were captured on camera celebrating Deon Hotto's late goal.
However, while other players enthusiastically applauded, Saleng remained seated, appearing visibly uncomfortable.
It remains to be seen whether Saleng will return to action when Pirates face Cape Town City in the Betway Premiership on Wednesday, 8 January.
