Former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Hlompho Kekana believes Sipho Mbule, who has faced the “problem child” label off the pitch, is running out of time to make the most of his football career.
Mbule has had an issue with behaviour with a lot of incidents, resulting in him being suspended by the clubs he has played for.
The 27-year-old is on loan at Sekhukhune United and will return to his parent club, Sundowns at the end of the campaign.
Hlompho Kekana has expressed that it would be a real shame if the Free State-born player doesn't live up to his full potential, especially considering that time is no longer on his side.

KEKANA ON SIPHO MBULE’S OFF-FIELD ISSUES
“We have spoken about Sipho Mbule before and it will pain me if this boy doesn’t realise his full potential in football because we all know what he is capable of doing,” said Kekana on SABC’s Soccer Zone.
“I was just praising him last week saying this boy is playing some top class football and needed consistency. However it is the outside world that is letting him down and time is no longer on his side.
“You look at him, he is approaching 30 and when you reach 30, we are going to start looking at you funny and you are going to get to a stage where you need the game, and it doesn’t need you. Football is crucial like that, really when you need it that’s when it doesn’t need you.
“Now is when he should be doing so much in the game because time in football doesn’t last too long.”
